How to book a tattoo with us:
1. Your idea for the design
We need to know everything to tune in to your vibe. Describe the motif you have in mind as best as you can, and send us photos or sketches you like. Think about where you’d like the tattoo and what size it should be.
2. Scheduling the appointment
Once we have all the key details about your design, we’ll agree on a date together. It’s ideal if you can share your schedule for the week/month/days that would work best for you.
3. Deposit
After we set the date, we’ll arrange the deposit. The amount ranges from €30 to €50 depending on the size and complexity of the tattoo. It serves as a guarantee for your reserved time and the creation of your design.
4. Creating the design
Once the deposit arrives, our artists will start working on an original design tailored just for you.
5. Fine-tuning the details
We’ll send you the design no later than the weekend before your tattoo session. Don’t worry—there will still be plenty of time to adjust the details until we’re both satisfied.
6. Tattoo session
Once everything is agreed, the final step is bringing the tattoo to life.

If you like our work and are starting to think about getting a tattoo, or you are already one hundred percent decided, we kindly ask you to read this guide. It will make our communication and mutual understanding much easier. You will know exactly how to proceed.
First of all, it’s good to go through our complete portfolio – not only here on the website, but also on our social media. You can easily find the links by clicking on the icons at the bottom or the links placed in the text. On these virtual spaces, we try to share our activity from a slightly different perspective.
By doing this, you’ll get a clear idea of how we create and what you can expect from us.
If you’ve already chosen a particular artist, just let us know. Otherwise, we will gladly recommend who from our team would be the best fit for your request. If several artists would be suitable, you will decide based on waiting times or other circumstances.
The second step is to write us an email or a message via Facebook Messenger or Instagram. In your very first message, please share as much detail as possible about your idea. Tell us what you want to have tattooed, your vision, what it should symbolize, and where you need advice. Let us know what personal meaning it carries for you. Write down everything that comes to mind about the design, and especially what is important to you. This part needs to be thorough, because people often imagine their tattoo in their minds but don’t describe it to us – they take it for granted. But remember, we can’t read your mind.
Don’t forget to mention the spot on your body where you’d like to place the tattoo. For clarity, it helps to mark the spot on your body in any way and send us photos – both close-up and from a distance.
Also, include the size. The best way is to measure directly on yourself, since paper and body are, of course, different. Naturally, we will advise you on the size as well, so it works not only in terms of longevity, but also anatomically – so that you not only have a beautiful tattoo, but that the tattoo also enhances your appearance.
Regarding the style, or in other words, how you imagine it should look, simply send us some reference images or photos that bring your idea closer. You can use tattoo references, but also high-quality photos, drawings – anything! Inspiration can come from anywhere.
We do not copy other people’s tattoos! We also do not copy our own originals! An original from Bodliak is unique – just like you. If you draw something yourself, or if it was created especially for you, we will gladly tattoo it after mutual discussion and adjustments.
After this step, we’ll be able to give you an approximate price for your tattoo and tell you how many sessions it will require – whether just one or several.
The third step is booking your appointment. Once we agree on the design and have all the necessary details, it’s time to set the date. If the tattoo requires multiple sessions, there must be at least a one-month break between them to allow the previous tattoo to heal.
Please let us know in which month you’d like to get tattooed, and whether you prefer the beginning, middle, or end of the month. If you have a specific schedule, share it with us and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
Once the exact date is agreed, we move on to a deposit. The deposit is a set financial amount as a sign of commitment and confirmation of your appointment. It serves as a guarantee for the reserved time and the preparation of your design. In simple words, by paying the deposit, we symbolically shake hands and confirm that everything is agreed. The deposit is €30 for a small tattoo under 10 cm, and €50 for tattoos over 10 cm. You can send it to our account or bring it personally to our studio.
The terms of the deposit will be provided before payment – via email, message, or explained in person. We’ll also gladly answer any further questions you may have.
Your custom design, created especially for you, will be ready the weekend before your appointment. Unfortunately, we can’t prepare it earlier due to our queue. We will show you the design for approval. It’s either love at first sight and you just wait for your appointment, or we fine-tune details until we are both satisfied.
If you’d like a tattoo without a design, just say so. Freehand is something we do often – drawing directly on your skin with markers and then tattooing it.
Finally, here’s a tip: if you long for a tattoo but don’t know exactly what you want, check out the free designs we’ve created here on our website. Maybe one will resonate with you so much that you’ll choose it.
We look forward to seeing you and wish you a wonderful time with us. Thank you for your trust and for allowing us to create original works of art directly on you.
We wish you the most amazing tattoo – one that will not only decorate and delight you, but also protect and empower you.
May you find here what you are searching for.
With love,
Your Bodliak Team
