OUR NAME IS BODLIAK (THISTLE):
Thistle, a plant with a beautiful flower, capable of defending itself and surviving any storm. Even if it bends, it straightens again. We are Bodliak—beings who love nature, who infuse it into our creations, and who also poke. Just as the thistle pricks with its thorns, we do with our needles.
The gallery of thistles we have tattooed is far from complete, as it’s impossible to track down all the photos dating back to 2002, the year of our beginning. But we want to show you at least a few beautiful pieces as a tribute to our name.
Those who wear a thistle on their skin adorn themselves and are reminded of its strength—thank you for that. It brings us great joy.
